    Volunteer Opportunities: There are so many options available! We have a number of different programs to offer for people wanting to volunteer as well as fundraising and event opportunities for people to participate in support our organization.

  • Board Opportunities: Looking for future candidates to fill vacancies. Must be available to attend monthly meetings, the second Friday of each month at 8am, and willing to donate time to volunteer or otherwise participate in events and retail promotions.
    VolunteerOpportunities:Help at events, including: Ice Art Fest, Ford & Corvette parades, Harvest of the Arts, Molly Pitcher Birthday Bash, Hotchee New Year, as well as town cleanup days and other beautification efforts.

  • Board Opportunities: Board Secretary position is currently available. We are looking for 1-2 more Board members who believe in our mission and have a strong passion for education and workforce development in our community.
    Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for volunteer tutors and classroom aides to support students in our adult basic literacy, GED, and ESL programs. We are also looking for volunteers to support fundraising events and serve on fundraising committees.

    Volunteer Opportunities:We are always looking for Facebook administrators and field capture teams. This spring we are building committees for the first time. We will need people for fundraising, public relations, social media, volunteer recruitment, engagement & training, community outreach, website. Lots more.

  • Volunteer Opportunities: Always in need of coaches, race day volunteers, spirit runners, and people to help support 5K (spring and fall) race day activities (setting up and tearing down).

  • Girl Scout Troop 10538
  • Volunteer Opportunities: We hold five Veteran related ceremonies, and several fundraisers each year. Volunteer help would be appreciated for set-up and clean-up, and for musicians and singers at these events. We also hold a drop-off donation event (Operation Troop Support) in mid-November. The donated items are shipped to Pennsylvania troops that are deployed overseas, and volunteers are needed for receiving, organizing, and boxing these items.

  • Board Opportunities: Be a part of our dynamic board that support LEAF! Our wonderful board meets once per month, attends at least two programmatic events in the year and an annual retreat, and participates in committees (and of course does so much more!). There are a few ways to join our board and we’d be happy to talk to you about how to join LEAF leadership! LEAF specifically seeks board members with a strong connection to our mission and history with our organization.

  • Volunteer Opportunities:We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available. We have several client distributions a month, as well as opportunities such as gleaning, packing produce etc. We have all volunteer shifts viewable on our website.

  • Volunteer Opportunities:April - Hang Flower Baskets in Downtown Carlisle, May - Disc Golf Tournament to raise awareness of local non-profits, June - Park cleanup Thornwald and 7 Gables Parks, July - Christmas in July gifts to senior citizens in One West Penn , and Oct - Rotary Annual Golf Fundraiser.

  • Volunteer Opportunities: SPY is looking for help preparing and serving food to our campers during our summer program. We also welcome anyone that enjoys helping with events to join our Resource Development Committee.

    Volunteer Opportunities:We have several events that we host each year. Our current event is Magic Night, which is March 9th. Once Magic Night is over, we will be looking for new volunteers to join our Magic Night Committee for 2025. Our next event will be our Sports Auction held at City Island on June 15th.

  • Board Opportunities: At-large members are being sought. We have a standardized selection process, and resumes are reviewed by a committee.
    Volunteer Opportunities: We work with our 23 partner agencies for volunteer opportunities. However, our three biggest events for which we need volunteers are for U-TURN, “Carlisle’s Largest Yard Sale," which is June 8 this year; Fill the Bus, during which we collect school supplies for area students in need, which is in mid-July; and Day of Caring, which is our annual volunteer day when about 400 volunteers go to about 40 locations in the community and help out. It is Oct. 11 this year.
